The FAQ
Do you Travel?
Absolutely! We love a good adventure! We also have a small zoo at home and we do ask for at least a month of a heads up so that we can make arrangements.
How long have you been doing this?
My dad was a professional photographer and I started taking pictures using his camera in high school. Back then everything was on film and my Dad is the one who taught me the value of candid moments. I first started taking on paid photography in 2016.
How many photos do we get?
Depends on the session type! I dont put a limit on how many photos I'll deliver. For weddings you will likely get several hundred back and for any other session Ill always provide more than included in your session fee and give you the option to purchase more.
Do you retouch photos?
I would never deliver an image untouched! You can expect what I deliver to you to be consistent with the other work in my portfolio. Along with color adjustments you can expect some light skin smoothing and blemish removal as well.
Whats your turn around time?
Non-wedding sessions have about a 3-4 week turn around time. Weddings can take from 4-8 weeks to finish depending on which collection and what time of year it is (weddings September - November take longer to finish.)
How do we book you?
Feel free to email me or message me on any platform but I prefer to be contacted through my website so that I get all the details I need from you up front.
Can you help us with planning?
I wouldn't have it any other way! I have plenty or resources to share with you to help organize your thoughts and bring your vision to life.
What should we wear?
I have a guide I'll send you but here is the short version lol. First and foremast, I want you to be comfortable! We WILL be doing a lot of moving and jumping, possibly running and playing so keep all that in mind when picking your clothes (especially shoes). Think neutrals and timelessness. Try to avoid loud colors, bold prints and logos as they can throw weird color casts on the skin and make editing difficult. Last but not least, dress like yourself! We want this session to highlight YOU and your beautiful personality.
How do we get our photos?
All sessions will include the digital copies of images provided through an online gallery, Some collections also include a flash drive and/or prints!
What should we do for an engagement session?
OMG THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS! First I'll have you fill out my questionnaire and ill start shooting out ideas but I would love to take this opportunity to make this a fun date night experience and do something that really encompasses you as a couple!
How far out do you book?
For most full day weddings I'm willing to book to 18 months in advance for 6 hours of coverage or more. For less than 6 hours I would prefer not to book more than 6 months in advance.
Travel
Available for hire in the pacific northwest and beyond. Previous travels include, France, Spain, Canada, Alaska, Ireland, and New Zealand. Contact us for an overseas quote.
